Paltot takes its name from paletot, a historic French term for the overcoat - a garment that exists at the intersection of function and expression.

Worn as the outermost layer, the paletot was never merely protective; it was declarative - a silhouette, a presence, a first impression. As the word travelled across cultures, evolving into palto, palton, it retained its essence: the idea of an outer layer that shapes how one is seen.

Founded in 2026 by two women, Paltot Studio is a Paris-based creative and strategic studio with an international reach, specializing in public relations, brand storytelling, and creative production.
